Overview

Echelon Risk + Cyber is seeking a Sales Development Associate to assist with prospect outreach, content development and insight. We’re seeking an individual who is excited about learning the fundamentals of sales and generating qualified leads. The ideal candidate will not be afraid to email, call, and follow-up with potential clients and prospects. This will require strong creative and persuasive writing skills for writing about tech-oriented topics for a variety of audiences. This person will raise awareness of Echelon by emailing prospects, attending events, calling prospects, utilizing LinkedIn, and similar methods of outreach. Once a relationship is established, prospects will be sent to Echelon leadership for further business development. Work will be performed in a consultative manner with clients of various industries, sizes, and makeup.

The ideal candidate will be an authentic, articulate, and humble leader who is unafraid to roll up their sleeves and dive deep into the unknowns, using their relationship-building skills to uncover potential clients and identify opportunities to grow Echelon Risk + Cyber.

What You Will Do

  • Build and maintain meaningful relationships with potential clients
  • Raise awareness about Echelon using various methods of communication and outreach including phone calls, email, LinkedIn, and more
  • Attend relevant events to network and develop relationships with potential clients
  • Perform market research to track key competitors and industry trends
  • Cultivate and generate lead lists and marketing campaign lists
  • Produce thought leadership for the organization’s website blog on a regular basis
  • Create inbound leads with prospects to then introduce to Echelon leadership
  • Develop a point of view on how to help appropriately qualify potential clients
  • Build credibility and trust with Echelon leadership and potential clients
  • Demonstrate adaptability and flexibility as part of a quickly-growing consulting organization

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of inside/outside sales and marketing experience
  • Adept at client prospecting tools and data research methods
  • Computer knowledge with the ability to quickly learn new software
  • Ability to thrive in a high customer volume, time-sensitive environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with experience crafting professional messages and adjusting communication style based on audience
  • Fluent in English- resumes will only be accepted in English

Bonus Qualifications:

  • Consulting sales experience
  • Knowledge of cyber security terminology, frameworks, and functions
  • Information technology or other B2B sales
