Human review should mean defined escalation paths, reviewer qualifications, and clear override authority, especially for high-impact decisions.
2) AI vendor diligence must go beyond a standard security questionnaire
The webinar’s vendor diligence segment focused on contracts, ownership, data use, and liability. Organizations should review:
- scope and purpose limitations
- data ownership and IP rights
- audit rights
- breach notification
- subprocessors
- termination and data deletion
- indemnification and liability limits
That is one of the most practical themes from the session because many organizations are not building AI from scratch. They are buying it.
