Business Impact Analysis (BIA)
We partner with you to identify, document, and assess the criticality of people, processes, and technology across your organization. Our BIA is designed to predict the consequences of a business disruption and gather information required to limit loss events. The BIA quantifies the impacts of business disruptions, identifies risks to business operations, documents Recovery Time Objectives (RTO), and documents Recovery Point Objectives (RPO). Use this information to proactively mitigate identified risks and to develop Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plans which provide guidance for responding to business interruptions.
Business Continuity Plans (BCP)
Based on the result of your BIA, we document Business Continuity Plans to help your organization maintain and restore business activities - based on criticality - during an unplanned disruption. Our BCPs provide clear communication protocols and outline step-by-step instructions for maintaining and/or restoring critical business operations.
Disaster Recovery Plans (DRP)
After creating Business Continuity plans, we focus on your critical technology components by documenting Disaster Recovery Plans to ensure that your hardware, software, infrastructure, and data are restored in a timely manner when responding to a disaster scenario.
Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (BCDR) Plan Testing
Testing is an important part of the BCDR planning process because it examines the validity of your BCP and DRPs. It also ensures that critical business units and stakeholders understand the plan and their role in executing. We help your organization to avoid the catastrophe of discovering that your BCP or DR plan is ineffective while in the middle of a disaster scenario. Our tabletop exercises provide real-world scenarios that assess all levels of the organization to ensure plan effectiveness.
Continuous Monitoring
BCDR planning is not a “one and done” exercise. Organizations are constantly evolving and so are the environments in which they operate. It is critically important to periodically review and updates all elements of the BCDR planning process, starting with the BIA to ensure that plans are up to date and functioning properly. We help organizations conduct periodic reviews and continually monitor critical assets so that there are no surprises when an incident occurs.
